Hiwassee Equestrian Center welcomes Denise Cooper to our training staff!
Denise Cooper is an accomplished rider and instructor from California. She has trained and shown horses in Dressage through 3rd Level. Denise has a strong affinity for the Morgan Horse, and she has won Championships with her Morgans in three states.
For over 30 years, Denise has been instructing adult-beginner and child-beginner riders. Denise's instruction focuses on good horsemanship skills for those who are completely new to the wonderful world of horses. Her expertise and fun teaching method focus on building confidence and enjoyment. Denise's patient and compassionate teaching technique is perfect for the fearful rider who desires to overcome their fears.
Denise has two wonderful lesson horses to help beginners get off to the right start. Kammie is a retired police horse with a heart of gold, and Pinky is a younger horse with a kind and gentle soul.
Denise sets two goals for all of her students: Smiles and Confidence. If you want your child or yourself to have a correct, confident start in riding, then the Adult-Beginner and Child-Beginner lesson program at Hiwassee Equestrian Center is the right choice. Everyone is welcome, and no one is too much of a beginner.
