Hiwassee College's Equestrian Studies program maintains quality horses for student use. The horses used in our program are either donated to Hiwassee College, or are on loan from their owners. Hiwassee College Equestrian Center maintains the highest standard of equine care.
In Good Time, aka, Stryder

Stryder is a wonderful addition to our program! He is a talented jumper, and has a strong dressage background. Stryder is currently competing in the discipline of 3-day eventing with his owner, Kelly Wallace.
Zues

Zues is a talented 3-day event horse with a strong dressage background. Zues and his owner, Leila Owen, were Reserve Champions at the 2007 USPC Eventing Championships! We are honored to have this talented horse in our program.
Galveston, aka, Granni

Granni was a Grand Prix show jumper until a serious injury to his suspensory ligaments ended his jumping career. Although Granni is no longer able to jump, he is a huge asset to our dressage training program. Granni was imported from Germany, and during his competition days, he competed at the prestigious Aachen Horse Show in Aachen, Germany.
Our Squirt of Scotch, aka, Squirt

Squirt has been shown on the AQHA circuit in both Hunter Under Saddle and Western Pleasure. Squirt has willing taken to basic dressage training and jumping. He is a barn favorite with his sweet disposition!
Glowing Potential, aka, Mike

Mike is a wonderful horse with a successful show record on the AQHA circuit. As a 3 year old, Mike placed in the top 15 at the AQHA Congress in Hunter Under Saddle. In addition to being a wonderful riding horse, Mike has done pleasure driving as well. We are excited and honored to have Mike as part of our program!
Megin's Flame, aka, Megin

Megin is a seasoned competitor in 3-day eventing, and while she is now retired from competition, she is a huge asset to our program. Megin has had extensive jumping and dressage training. She is a "do-anything, go-anywhere" horse with a heart of gold!
Golden Ticket, aka, GT

GT is a jumping machine! GT had a very successful career as a 3-day Event horse with his previous owner, Kaylen Moon. GT has a strong dressage background, and is a wonderful addition to our program.

Sam has literally done it all! Hunters, Jumpers, 3-day Eventing, Dressage, and Fox Hunting fill up his resume. Sam is a well-schooled horse with lots of "old horse" wisdom!

Holly is a dressage mare extraordinaire! Holly is a winner almost every time out during competitions, and is as beautiful as her namesake!

Comanche came out of retirement to help teach! Comanche was shown in hunters and in dressage during her competition days.
